Frequently Asked Questions
What is recall training for dogs?
Recall training teaches your dog to return to you promptly and reliably when called, even when there are distractions. During your one to one recall training session, you'll learn our proven No Nose In Front Of Toes Recall Technique, helping your dog become more attentive, responsive and enjoyable to walk off lead where appropriate.
Collapsible row
Yes. Many dogs struggle to ignore distractions such as other dogs, birds, squirrels or people. Our recall training focuses on improving your dog's engagement and attention, teaching them to choose you over their surroundings and respond consistently when called.
Where does the recall training take place?
All recall training sessions are held at our purpose built dog training academy in Market Drayton, Shropshire. We use controlled environments with carefully introduced distractions, allowing your dog to develop reliable recall safely before progressing to more challenging situations.
Will I learn how to continue recall training at home?
Absolutely. This is a one to one dog training session, so Craig will coach you throughout the training and explain how to continue practising the No Nose In Front Of Toes Recall Technique after your visit. You'll leave with the confidence and knowledge to build on your dog's progress at home.
Is this recall training suitable for every dog?
This programme is suitable for dogs that need to improve their recall, focus and responsiveness around distractions. However, it is not suitable for dogs that display aggression towards people or other dogs, and certain breeds cannot be accepted due to insurance restrictions. If you're unsure whether this training is suitable for your dog, please contact us before booking.
