Frequently Asked Questions
Can this dog training help stop my dog barking at home?
Yes. This one to one dog training session is designed to help with common behaviours at home, including barking at the television, visitors, delivery drivers and other everyday triggers. We'll teach you practical techniques to help your dog become calmer and more relaxed within the home environment.
What is the Home Environment Experience?
Our Home Environment Experience takes place in a purpose built setting at our dog training academy, designed to recreate situations commonly found at home. This allows us to work on behaviours such as reacting to the doorbell, greeting visitors calmly and settling in a dog bed, all within a structured training environment.
Is this training suitable for dogs that struggle to relax?
Absolutely. Many dogs find it difficult to switch off and settle once they're indoors. Using our proven No Nose In Front Of Toes Technique, we'll show you how to encourage calm behaviour, improve focus and help your dog relax more confidently at home.
Will I learn how to continue the training after the session?
Yes. Throughout your one to one dog training session, Craig will guide you through the techniques step by step, ensuring you understand how to reinforce the training at home. You'll leave with the confidence and knowledge needed to continue making progress with your dog.
Is this programme suitable for reactive or aggressive dogs?
This training is suitable for dogs that are reactive to visitors, strangers or common household situations. However, it is not suitable for dogs that display aggression towards people or other dogs, and certain breeds cannot be accepted due to insurance restrictions. If you're unsure whether this programme is suitable, please contact us before booking.
