Frequently Asked Questions
Who is the Midweek Group Dog Training Workshop suitable for?
Our Midweek Group Dog Training Workshop is ideal for dogs aged six months and over that need help with lead pulling, overexcitement, confidence building or learning to remain calm around other dogs. It's perfect for owners who want to improve their dog's behaviour in a supportive group environment.
What happens during the coffee shop training session?
During the second half of the workshop, you'll visit a coffee shop where you'll learn practical techniques to help your dog settle quietly around people, other dogs and everyday distractions. This real world experience helps build calm behaviour that you can continue practising after the workshop.
Will my dog receive individual attention during the workshop?
Yes. Although the training takes place in a group setting, Craig provides guidance throughout the session and offers practical advice to help you and your dog get the most from the workshop. You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions about your dog's behaviour and training.
What should I bring to the dog training workshop?
Please bring your dog on a lead, poo bags and wear comfortable clothing with suitable footwear for walking outdoors. Every dog will also receive a complimentary Puppuccino during the coffee shop session, although drinks for owners are not included in the workshop price.
Is this workshop suitable for aggressive dogs?
No. This behavioural dog training workshop is designed for dogs that need help with lead pulling, confidence, excitement and general obedience. It is not suitable for dogs that display aggression towards people or other dogs. If you're unsure whether your dog is suitable, please contact us before booking.
